Troubleshooting Guide for Not Powering On

When your KS0, KS0 PRO, or other small miners fail to power on, the first step is to check if the power adapter is functioning properly. Here are some common troubleshooting steps:

1. Check the Power Adapter:

  - Ensure the power outlet the adapter is connected to is working properly.

  - Check if the power indicator light on the adapter is on. If the light is not on, the adapter might be faulty. Try replacing the power adapter to see if that resolves the issue.

2. Internal Short Circuit:

  - If the power adapter is working but the miner still won't power on, there might be an internal short circuit. In this case, submit a repair ticket and send the miner back to the service center for inspection and repair.

For large miners like KS1, KS2, KS3, KS3M, KS5L, etc., follow these steps based on the status of the power indicator light:

1. Connection Issues Between Power Supply and Control Board:

  - If the power indicator light is flashing green, it could indicate a connection issue between the power supply and the control board. Check if the connection cables between the control board and the power supply are loose. Reconnect the cables and ensure they are firmly connected.

2. Power Supply Failure:

  - If the power indicator light is flashing red or remains solid red, it suggests a power supply failure. If the miner is still under warranty, submit a repair ticket and send the miner back for a free power supply replacement. If the warranty has expired, you can purchase an official replacement part and replace the power supply yourself.

If the Power Indicator Light is Not On:

1. Check the Power Outlet and Power Cable:

  - Ensure the power outlet the miner is connected to is functioning properly.

  - Check the power cable for any damage. Try using a different power cable.

2. Power Supply Check:

  - Use a multimeter to test if the power supply is working properly.

If all the above steps are followed and the miner still does not power on, the power supply might be faulty. Depending on the warranty status, submit a repair ticket or purchase an official replacement part to resolve the issue.
